New Model Country House at Twineham Grange Farm

Morgan Carn have won an exceptional planning consent for a stunning contemporary New Model Country House. Set on 4 acres of former farmland with views to the South Downs, the house has echoes of Mies Van der Rohe's brick country house of 1923 and the prairie style of Frank Lloyd Wright. Hugging the ground and melding seamlessly with the landscape the 10,500 square foot, 6 bedroom home with it's integral swimming pool, gym and staff quarters will have the very lightest environmental touch. The curved sedum roof, very high levels of insulation, ground source heat pump, solar panels, photovoltaic cells and composting reed beds ensure that it will easily achieve Code 5 under the Code for Sustainable Homes.

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School

The Bishop of Arundel and Brighton The Right Reverend Kieran Conry recently opened the new hall at Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School, and commented on the fantastic acoustic qualities of the space. The design also includes a new reception office, school kitchen, library specialist music room and staff facilities. The key to the success of the project was the careful planning of the works to allow for the continuing functioning of the school whilst major refurbishment was carried out.
